Sitting at our desk, logged into work, I look out into the living room and L’s standing in his underpants, a shirt, and socks with one leg propped up on the coffee table as he futzes with Pandora. He sees me watching him then says “Husband.”

Fresh Air was showin’ off those pumpkiny treats this morning, and I realized my annual baking of the pumpkin cookies ritual is overdue.

9 Days Away
So glad to be back to our place. So glad for a return to easy access to electronic fripperies, my towels, and a steady supply of to-my-liking-not-yours tidy. So glad for safe travel, quiet neighbor-seat babies, and direct flights. So glad to have seen my family and his.
