Too long, yo.
I’ve been away from tumblr for a week. Monday night I had a dream starring two different tumblrs I follow. I’ve never met y’all in person, but we were fighting off some now-hazy threat and after, I turned to you and shouted “I’ve missed you!”
Twin Peaks Rewatch 2011 Episode Notes
hipsterpeaks:
Here are the notes I took while watching the pilot episode of Twin Peaks, with screencap quotes and an occasional video. They may seem disjointed, because they are basically notes on things that wouldn’t make sense unless you were watching the pilot. I hope to take better notes as this project goes on.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE SOME SPOILERS, BUT MAJOR ONES I WILL TRY TO TALK...
Each time I receive an email from the DNC
or anything with Nancy Pelosi’s name on it, I hear Kristin Wiig as Nancy Pelosi reading the email to me.
Apparently it’s my turn to do something.

Taco Tuesdays
If I were allowed only one fast food restaurant choice for the rest of my life, it would be Taco Bell. Hands down. It was a staple of my childhood (sadly). Of course I’d miss a Wendy’s Frosty and curly fries from Jack in the Box, but it would be fine because I’d have cinnamon twists and 7-Layer burritos (the sixth layer is poor judgment;the seventh, rice).
When we don’t...

1. Because of L, I get to sign cards “Aunt E.” This is awesome. ”Mother” might be a horrifying title, but “aunt” or “cousin,” I got that shit taken care of.
2-5. The aforementioned cards are going to soon-to-be 5-year-old twins, so I stuck STICKERS! EVERYWHERE! Stickers are the best.
My 1000th tweet was about spelling?!?! Amazing! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Amazing.

With the first day of the Scripps National Spelling Bee in the books, I decided to forego the normal Milhouse clip in favor of my favorite clip from the first day of the bee.

“The Scripps National Spelling Bee will start on ESPN at 8:30, or if you have the right cable/internet provider (sorry, I am not in charge of these things), you may be able to watch it at ESPN360.com.”

Remember this? It’s happening. You think if I went to a bar and asked them to switch it to ESPN3 today, they’d do it? Reruns, ya know?

Without coffee, I point.
It’s been about 20 years since Twin Peaks first aired, but it’s been about 20 weeks since my first viewing of it. Per normal, I’m behind the curve. Per normal, I like building a day around driving somewhere and eating.
L secretly thinks the show is actually the world’s longest, most involved coffee commercial.
I’m pissed I didn’t think of that first.
